The Word Is Out!

Almost 4 months after surgery and all is still well…..On Monday of this week I had four patients of my own to see in our outpatient surgery department. I went up and down the flight of stairs to surgery a total of 9 times that day. Was I tired at the end of the day? You bet! Did my foot and heel give me any problems? None at all!!!! Thanks again for pain free walking.

Electronic Medical Records PDF Print E-mail

Electronic medical records (EMR) are the most efficient way for providers to communicate between providers and locations. No longer are messy, disorganized charts needed. All previous records are immediately available to the practitioner and we are no longer ‘waiting on the previous visit’s dictation.’ The space consumed by charts in the past, can now be used for patient care. The front office staff can be updating the patient’s insurance information and the physician can be reviewing the patient’s latest ankle x-rays or ultrasound, simultaneously!

The whole system streamlines the patient care environment, as well as greatly reducing the amount of paper consumed in the medical office - a big plus for us and the environment!
