doctorMost people think that podiatrists only treat adults. While 1Foot 2Foot treats adults of all ages, pediatric foot and ankle problems are frequently treated as well. We are happy to see your child and will take the time to explain his or her problem in terms that can be understood. We will answer your questions and address any concerns that you have while your child is being treated. Drs. Dairman, Abboud, and Diaz pride themselves on their kid-friendly bedside manner. We see children regularly on the recommendation of pediatricians. 1Foot 2Foot treats pediatric problems such as warts, ingrown toenails, heel pain, sports injuries and congenital deformities like in-toeing and flat feet among others.

Many parents worry that their child may not be developing normally or walking correctly. We hear questions such as:

  • Will my child’s feet always point toward each other?
  • Are my kid’s feet flat?
  • When should my child begin to walk?
  • Why do my child’s feet smell so bad?
  • Can my child play sports?
  • Do treatments hurt?
  • Will my child need surgery?

All of these questions and more are answered in our book Little Feet: A Guide to Your Child's Foot Health. Written by Drs. Dairman and Abboud, this booklet is dedicated to the children we treat and is available for FREE to the Hampton Roads community.

Little Feet is available by completing our Request Form or by calling 1-866-634-9194.
