Dr. Dairman was born and raised in New Jersey. He graduated from Skidmore College with Honors in Biology, and then earned a Masters in Epidemiology from the University at Albany School of Public Health. He received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine with Honors from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago where he was recognized as a Swanson Foundation Independent Scholar, inducted into the Durlacher Honor Society, and earned a place in the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Dr. Dairman completed his residency training at the North Colorado Medical Center Podiatric Surgical Residency where he served as Chief Resident from 2001-2002.
Dr. Dairman trained with both podiatric and orthopaedic surgeons during this residency enabling him to cultivate his didactic and surgical skills from both podiatric and orthopaedic philosophies. He specializes in the conservative and surgical management of the foot and ankle with a particular interest in podiatric biomechanics, heel pain, foot and ankle dermatology, peripheral nerve surgery and forefoot reconstructive surgery, as well as the ailments of the diabetic foot. Named a Media Spokesperson for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Dr. Dairman enjoys lecturing and educating the community on all foot health issues.
Dr. Dairman is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Society of Podiatric Surgery, Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons, and American Professional Wound Care Association. He is an active member of the American, Virginia and Hampton Roads Podiatric Medical Associations, and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School. He has been named one of America’s Top Podiatrists.
Outside of practice, Dr. Dairman likes to spend time with family and friends. He became an official transplant to Suffolk and Hampton Roads with the birth of his daughter, Lucy. When time permits, he enjoys tennis, running, hiking, and disc golf. He receives regular pedicures, plays the ukulele for relaxation, and dabbles in graphic design. |

Dr. Aalto was born in Wisconsin and raised in Texas. He later returned to Wisconsin where he completed his undergraduate work earning his Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences with a Pre-Health concentration and a chemistry minor. He completed his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Aalto then completed a medical residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania followed by a three year surgical residency and one year fellowship at the renowned Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. His surgical training focused intensively on podiatric medicine and surgery with an emphasis on reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and deformity planning and correction. During this time, he spent three months at the Sinai Hospital Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopedics and International Center for Limb Lengthening in Baltimore, Maryland with special focus on limb lengthening and deformity correction via external fixation, treatment of non-unions, bone defects and infections, and Ponseti method of clubfoot treatment. Dr. Aalto then completed a second fellowship in Virginia Beach with specialized training in advanced Charcot reconstruction. Dr. Aalto is Board Qualified in Foot Surgery and Rearfoot/Ankle Reconstruction by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He joined 1Foot 2Foot in May 2011.

Dr. Dalrymple was born and raised in Queens, New York. She was accepted into a seven year BS/MD program at City College/City University of New York with plans to become either a pediatrician or obstetrician. After graduating with her Bachelor's degree in Biology, she changed her course from general medicine to specialized medicine and elected to pursue a career as a foot and ankle specialist. She received her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2007 while serving as a student ambassador for the college and profession.
Dr. Dalrymple then traveled west to complete a demanding three year residency program (PM&S 36) in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles, California where she served as chief resident from 2008-2010. During her tenure in California, she was actively involved in the University of Southern California’s Happy Feet – ‘Foot Care for the Homeless’ taking time to train medical students in the basics of a foot examination and treating the underserved. Always one with a love for academics, she participated in the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners’ Item Pool Review Workshop, responsible for revising and updating board examination questions.
Dr. Dalrymple is an active member of the American, Virginia and Hampton Roads Podiatric Medical Associations. She is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
In addition to her excitement in growing 1Foot 2Foot's Harbour View presence, Dr. Dalrymple has also an impassioned commitment to her loving husband and two beautiful children. She enjoys spending time with her family, camping, writing and playing the piano. Dr. Dalrymple’s personal mantra is ‘love to serve, serve to love.’ |

A Hampton Roads native, Dr. Diaz attended Oscar F. Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk and then moved to New York City where he earned his Doctorate Degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Diaz is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American, Virginia, and Hampton Roads Podiatric Medical Associations, as well as the Young Filipino American Professionals of Hampton Roads.
When Dr. Diaz is not at the office caring for patients, he can be found spending time with his two sons at his home in Chesapeake, Virginia. He is also actively involved in the Filipino community, and volunteers at various medical clinics in Chesapeake and Norfolk. Dr. Diaz's hobbies include softball, poker, and golf. |
