The human foot has 28 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, 19 muscles and tendons. The 52 bones in our feet make up 25 percent of all the bones in our body. Due to the everyday demands we place upon ourselves, our feet are exposed to wear and tear along with overuse during our lifetime. Our feet can be adversely affected by diseases such as diabetes mellitus. In addition, there are several hereditary disorders which can negatively impact the shape and function of the feet leaving us more vulnerable to medical problems of the lower extremities.
At 1Foot 2Foot, we strive to provide our patients with the most comprehensive care from a simple medical procedure to a complex surgery. We have received conventional medical and specialized surgical training. With our experience and utilizing the latest technologies available to us, we diagnose your problem, explore treatment options, and decide upon the best approach for your condition. Our goal is to improve the quality of your life by providing excellent medical care.
